Waterski ACT, Barefoot Division, Presents Skifest 2000 Skifest, the festival of waterskiing in Canberra. In January 2000, thousands of waterski enthusiasts from around Australia converged on the Molonglo River, Canberra. Some came to compete, some came to watch and some came to trade but all came to celebrate the sport of Waterskiing. Wakeboarding, tournament, barefoot, show skiing and barefoot drag racing. You found it all at Skifest. Unfortunately for reasons outside our control we are no longer able to run Skifest as an anual event, but the memories linger on.
